Evidence governance
Certifications & Trust
Verify certification and trust claims by issuer, number, validity, applicable product/model, market and accessible file. A logo alone is not product-level proof.
Direct answer
What makes a certification claim usable?
A usable record identifies the certificate or report, issuing body, number, issue/expiry or current validity, covered product/model, destination market, file or verification URL and the date it was reviewed.
Product-level evidence
- Certificate or report title and type
- Issuing body and document number
- Issue, expiry or validity state
- Exact model/family coverage

Trust FAQ
Can a company certification logo prove product compliance?
No. Company/system scope and product/model certification are different. Match the claim to the correct document and coverage.
Can one certificate apply to every model and market?
Not automatically. Check the model list, standard, issuing body, validity and destination-market requirement.
What happens when evidence is incomplete?
The claim remains pending or needs confirmation and should not be output as final Product or Organization schema evidence.
Verify evidence before approval
Send the exact model, market and required standard or file. Applicability will be reviewed rather than assumed.

Buyer guides in Certification & Trust
These six existing guides are now governed as spokes of this hub. Their GSC status remains needs_review and technical or market claims require article-level fact-checking.
