The Four Steps
to Create a Mold

01

CAD Design

The first step is to create a CAD design. This will be used to produce the actual mold for your product, ensuring it meets all specifications and requirements.

02

Rapid Prototyping

Once the CAD design is ready, we create a prototype -- often using additive manufacturing ("rapid prototyping") -- allowing us to quickly validate the design.

03

Mold Creation & Testing

With the prototype validated, we create the actual production mold and test it to ensure it meets every specification and requirement before manufacturing begins.

04

Mass Manufacturing

The final step uses the approved mold to mass manufacture your product to the highest quality, meeting all customer needs at scale.

Manufacturing
Capabilities

Process 01

Casting

A manufacturing process in which a liquid material is poured into a mold containing a hollow cavity of the desired shape and allowed to solidify. The solidified part -- known as a casting -- is ejected or broken out to complete the process. Casting materials are usually metals or various cold-setting materials.

Process 02

Injection Molding

Molten plastic is injected into a mold under high pressure, then cooled to solidify into the desired shape. Used to create a wide variety of parts and products -- from car components to medical devices -- with precision and repeatability.

Process 03

CNC Machining

Computer numerically controlled tools remove material from a workpiece to create a desired shape. Delivers highly accurate, consistent parts -- simple or complex -- across metals, plastics, and composites. Widely used in aerospace, automotive, medical, and electronics industries.
